BeatsToRapOn is where independent artists prepare, manage and publish songs. BTR Music is the connected listener experience. Those are complementary roles, not a promise of distribution to other streaming platforms.
Show the actual song title, artwork and artist rather than sending fans an anonymous audio file.

Hip-hop is not one tempo, city or production style. Boom bap, West Coast grooves, underground rap, conscious hip-hop and contemporary melodic records all leave different space for a performer. What they share is the importance of the voice: the pocket, the lyrics, the identity and how the recording holds up when a listener presses play.
Rap exposes every flaw in a vocal mix. A technically finished song needs a clear lead vocal, solid beat licensing and artwork that does not get lost at thumbnail size.
Listen to the main vocal at a low volume and on a phone. Check breath edits, harsh consonants, doubles and ad-libs. The kick and bass should support the record without burying the lyrics.
A one-take freestyle, a cypher recording and a fully produced rap single can all be valid uploads. Give each one an accurate public title, credits and cover so listeners know what they are opening.
A purchased beat, free type beat or sampled loop does not automatically grant unrestricted commercial and streaming rights. Read the licence, keep permission records and do not upload uncleared material.
Use a consistent stage name and visual language. Link every release to your public artist profile so the next person who likes a verse can find the rest of your catalogue.
You can begin a Hip-Hop & Rap catalogue on a free artist account. Upgrading to Artist Pro is a separate choice for artists who need a larger catalogue and additional features.

A BTR upload publishes to the BeatsToRapOn ecosystem and may be eligible for BTR Music. It does not send your song to Spotify, Apple Music or other DSPs. See the Spotify upload guide for that separate process and Artist Pro for current features and regional prices.
The BTR hip-hop catalogue spans classic drums, regional sounds and modern rap production. Explore actual tracks and subgenre pages, then check the current Hip-Hop / Rap charts. Use the upload genre that reflects your release, not a term chosen just for search traffic.
Explore live independent tracks, beats and producers in the correct BTR genre category.
View actual on-platform chart activity. Rankings reflect BTR activity; a new upload does not guarantee a chart position.

Publishing a recording is the beginning of the release, not the end of the campaign. Use a distinctive moment from the track, one clear link and a consistent artist identity. For Hip-Hop & Rap in particular, the details below make promotion more relevant to the sound.
For rap, an isolated lyrical moment can introduce your identity faster than a generic album graphic. Cut a clear excerpt, show the title and send people to the public song page.
A bio, recognisable profile photo, readable cover art and a catalogue of finished records make your next upload easier to navigate. Review the final public experience before promoting it.
A boom-bap freestyle and an 808-led melodic hook deserve different descriptions. Reference the actual production and subject of your song, and connect heavier releases to the Trap guide or Drill guide only when relevant.
Remember to review the original music file, the release artwork and the public page before posting it anywhere. If you need help finishing the recording, BTR also offers music promotion tools and wider artist-facing services.
