For Buyers (Artists)

Buying on the Promotions Marketplace

What is the Promotions Marketplace?

Buy genuine music promotion from vetted curators, influencers, blogs, and services: playlist consideration, TikTok/IG placements, YouTube features, blog posts, radio spins, stream shoutouts, A&R feedback, and more.

How do I buy a promotion?

  1. Browse: Find a listing that fits your goal.
  2. Purchase: Pay — your money sits safely in escrow.
  3. Submit Requirements: Share links, assets, notes. The delivery clock starts only after this step.
  4. Delivery: Seller delivers within their timeframe.
  5. Approve: Accept to complete, or request a revision (if offered).

Is my payment safe?

Yes. Funds stay in escrow until you accept the delivery or the 3-day review window auto-completes.

For Sellers (Promoters)

  • Playlists: honest outreach/consideration for Spotify/Apple/YT (no bots, no “guaranteed plays”)
  • Publications: Blogs, online mags, interviews, newsletters
  • Live/Streams: Twitch/Kick spins, shoutouts

Cancellations — when and what happens

Before requirements are submitted

The buyer can cancel immediately from the order page; no seller approval needed and funds are returned to the buyer.

During an active order (not late)

Either party can send a cancellation request via the Resolution Hub. The other side has 48 hours to accept or decline; if they don’t reply, the mutual-cancellation request auto-cancels the order and the buyer is refunded. A flat administrative refund fee of $3 is charged to the buyer.

Passed Delivery Date Orders

Passed Delivery Date (< 24h past due): Order shows “Passed Delivery Date.” Seller should deliver ASAP; buyer may request cancellation via Resolution Hub (not instant).

After a delivery

Buyer has a 3-day review window. If there’s no action, the order auto-completes and normal Resolution Hub options are no longer available.

If a dispute is already open

That dispute must be withdrawn before canceling.

Business Rules

Disputes / Resolution Hub — when it can be used

Availability

The Resolution Hub is available on active “In Progress” orders (not any other order status). Access it from the order page.

Timing

It can be used mid-order (even if the seller is still within the timeline), after delivery during the 3-day review, and when issues arise (quality, scope, etc.). Options include requesting to cancel, extend the delivery date, or ask for updates.

Partial refunds

Either side can propose a partial refund (up to 70%) through the Resolution Hub; the other party has 48 hours to respond. If a refund is agreed by both parties, an administrative fee of $3 applies.

Delivery Extension requests

If the receiving party doesn’t respond within 48 hours, a delivery-date extension is auto-accepted.

Cancellation requests

Mutual cancellation requests sent via the Resolution Hub auto-cancel after ~48 hours if the recipient doesn’t respond.

Business Rules

Orders with no requirements submitted

Status & timer

The order sits as “Awaiting requirements” and the delivery countdown does not start until the buyer submits the requested info.

Seller limitations

The seller can’t start work or deliver until requirements are submitted.

Payments

Potential revenue will not be allocated to the Seller Wallet until requirements are submitted and the order has started.

Buyer control

While requirements are still missing, the buyer can cancel instantly (no approval needed). If requirements are later removed, the order returns to “Awaiting requirements.”

Buyer and Seller Protection

Purchases

Purchases made by the buyer are kept securely in escrow by BeatsToRapOn for the entire order process, with an additional 14-day protection period post-delivery.

Payouts to Sellers

Funds are only released to the seller when the buyer has “Accepted” the delivery.

Ratings and Reviews

Buyers have up to 30 days post-delivery to rate and review the seller. This gives the buyer enough time to see results before sharing their experience.

Seller response

After the buyer has posted a review, the seller can post a public response to the buyer’s review.

Repeat customers

A repeat customer label will be shown on reviews from previous customers, demonstrating loyalty and trust for the seller.

Verified badge

Sellers receive a green verified badge on their listings once they have achieved three full 5-star reviews. This badge appears on all of the seller’s listings.

Payout methods

We currently support PayPal withdrawals only; additional payout types will be supported later.
