What is the BTR Shopify integration?
It lets an eligible Artist Pro member show selected products from an existing public Shopify store on their BTR artist profile. Fans discover merchandise on BTR and finish their purchase through the artist’s Shopify checkout.
How do I connect my Shopify store to BTR?
Sign in to BeatsToRapOn, activate Artist Pro, open your Merchandise workspace at /workspace/merch, paste your public Shopify store URL, import your public products, and choose up to 20 products to display.
Do I need to install a Shopify app?
No. The integration uses public product information from your Shopify storefront. You do not need to install a Shopify app or provide your Shopify admin password or private API access token to BTR.
How many Shopify products can I show?
You can feature up to 20 selected Shopify products at a time. You choose the products that are shown to fans on your BTR artist profile.
Where do fans see my merchandise?
Fans can discover selected products on supported BTR public artist-profile surfaces, including the website and mobile-friendly artist pages. The actual display depends on the surface and current product availability.
Where does the customer pay?
Customers are taken to your Shopify store to complete checkout. Shopify handles payment collection, taxes, orders and the store’s normal fulfilment process. BTR does not take the merchandise payment.
Does BTR take commission from my Shopify sales?
No. BTR takes 0% commission from connected Shopify merchandise orders. You keep 100% of the merchandise sale from BTR’s perspective, before your normal Shopify, payment-processing, tax, refund, shipping and other business costs.
Does “keep 100%” mean I receive 100% after fees?
No. It means BTR deducts no percentage of the merchandise sale. Your Shopify plan, payment-processing or transaction fees, applicable taxes, refunds, shipping and fulfilment costs may still reduce your net proceeds.
Do I need Artist Pro?
Yes. Creating a basic BTR artist account is free, but displaying connected Shopify merchandise requires an active Artist Pro subscription and an eligible public Shopify store.
Do I need to move my store or upload my catalogue again?
No. Keep your existing Shopify store. Paste its public address so BTR can import available product information, then select what to feature. Manage the product catalogue in Shopify and sync in BTR after relevant changes.
What happens if I change a price, size or product in Shopify?
Make changes in your Shopify store first. Return to your BTR merchandise workspace and sync your public product information again, then check which products are selected and visible.
Who ships orders and handles returns?
Your existing Shopify store and its normal fulfilment arrangements manage shipping, tracking, customer service, refunds and returns. BTR does not fulfil Shopify merchandise orders.
Does Shopify money enter my BTR wallet?
No. Shopify orders, payments and payouts remain within your Shopify payment workflow. They are separate from BTR Music in-app purchases, artist-wallet balances and BTR payout schedules.
What happens if Artist Pro expires?
Your previously imported product selections are retained, but merchandise stops appearing on the public BTR artist profile when paid Artist Pro access expires. Reactivating Artist Pro restores the display under the current integration rules.
Do I need to have released a song on BTR to use merch?
You need an eligible BTR artist profile, an active Artist Pro plan and a connectable public Shopify store. A complete artist profile with music can help fans understand your brand, but publishing a song is a separate workflow from connecting merchandise.
Is this the same as the BTR marketplace or in-app fan purchases?
No. Connected Shopify merchandise uses the checkout, payments and fulfilment of your own Shopify store and has 0% BTR merchandise commission. BTR website marketplace transactions and in-app fan products have different payment rules.
