Afro house blends house structures with African-influenced percussion, rhythmic phrasing and often melodic or vocal elements. Its identity is not simply a house kick beneath an Afrobeats song: arrangement, groove and musical intent decide where it belongs.
Layered shakers, hand drums and syncopated elements can create depth, but crowded midrange can flatten the rhythm. Check percussion against the lead vocal and sub-bass.
Whether your release leans on chant, choir, synthesiser or instrumental motif, make the central phrase recognizable without losing the evolving groove.
BTR has Afro house browsing within electronic and Afrobeats-related catalogues. Select the actual available upload taxonomy that best fits your finished track.
Document vocalists, writers and producers. Traditional recordings, third-party chants and commercially released vocals still require suitable permissions.
Your upload page should describe the music you actually made. A polished cover, legitimate credits and consistent artist identity matter more than stuffing unrelated music genres into the title.

A successful release needs more than a link. Your audio excerpt, metadata, track art and message should all describe the same song. For afro house, these details make a practical difference:
Use an authentic excerpt that showcases the track’s percussion identity rather than a generic club video.
If a track mixes Afro house with amapiano or Afrobeats, describe that influence in honest language while assigning the closest available genre.
Connect releases with consistent profile imagery, original covers and a working public artist page after approval.
For preparation and promotional assets, explore the song key and BPM finder, free BPM analyzer and music promo maker. These tools do not change track eligibility or guarantee an audience.
