About This Event
Yawanawá & Huni Kuin Concert, Brighton takes place at Brighton Unitarian Church on New Road in Brighton and Hove, England, on Tuesday, 2 June 2026 at 6:30 PM. The evening features music, prayer and songs from the Yawanawá and Huni Kuin, with Tamani, Yaka and Shane Huni Kuin joined by members of the Yawanawá.
The event includes live music, songs and prayer, and is presented as a shared cultural gathering rooted in tradition. A selection of MAHKU artwork will be on display during the evening, and some pieces may be available to view or purchase.
This gathering is open to everyone, and no experience is needed. The organisers note that it is part of a wider series, which also includes an intimate Huni Kuin evening on Wednesday 27 May featuring a jewellery workshop and hapé circle, as well as a weekend retreat with the Kayatibu collective.
