About This Event
World Percussion Series: Latin Rhythms continues at Global Education Center in Nashville with a hands-on class in Latin percussion traditions. Led by Charlie Gilbert, GEC’s Music Director, the session covers the fundamentals of Latin rhythms, from the driving pulse of Latin dance music to the layered patterns that connect communities across generations.
The class is open to participants with or without prior drumming experience. Whether you have played before or are picking up a drum for the first time, the session is designed to build practical rhythm skills and a deeper understanding of the tradition behind them.
This series takes place at Global Education Center West, 4822 Charlotte Avenue, #3, Nashville, TN 37209. Upcoming sessions are scheduled for Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 31 at 12:00 PM.
