What is Fado? - A personal journey through all our Fado takes place at Fado na Baixa, 99 Rua de São João, Porto, on September 16, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
The program presents Fado through live performances by musicians and Fado singers, alongside introductory videos and multilingual video testimonials. It covers Fado traditions from Lisbon and Coimbra and includes Portuguese guitar performances.
Multilingual audioguides and multimedia materials provide information about the history and context of Fado. A glass of port wine is included as part of the presentation.
