About This Event
Vocal or Version reggae dance returns to The Rum Shack in Glasgow on Saturday 1st August, with an 8 pm start and running until 1 am. The event features vintage Jamaican music played on original press vinyl, with selections moving from 60s ska and 70s roots to 80s lovers rock.
Special guest Cuppa joins from Brighter Days Family, London. Dylan “Cuppa” Jones is described as one of the UK’s finest young selectors, with experience playing reggae dances and performing behind the decks for Brighter Days Family. Resident DJ Shaun Galbraith hosts the night.
The event takes place at The Rum Shack, 657-659 Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow, G41 2AB. Advance tickets start from £6, with a limited two-for-£10 offer available.
