Virtuoso Piano by Candlelight - feat. Flight of the Bumblebee takes place at St Mary Le Strand, The Strand, London, Westminster, WC2R 1ES, on Friday 31 July 2026 at 6:00 PM. The concert features pianist Andrew Zolinsky performing in the candlelit surroundings of St Mary le Strand, one of London’s Baroque churches.
The programme includes works by Scriabin, Rimsky-Korsakov / Rachmaninov, Rachmaninov, Chopin and Liszt. Pieces listed for the recital include Flight of the Bumblebee, several Rachmaninov preludes, Chopin’s Nocturne in B major, Op. 32 No. 1 and Scherzo No. 2 in B-flat minor, Op. 31, plus Liszt’s Liebestraum No. 3 and Mephisto Waltz No. 1.
Andrew Zolinsky has performed internationally and is noted for programming across a wide range of music from different periods. His concerto repertoire includes Beethoven, Chopin, Grieg, Rachmaninoff, Gershwin and Barber.
