In 2020, he ranked at #30 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll and was featured on the cover of Rolling Stone Brazil. He was also nominated by Forbes as one of its “30 Under 30” industry leaders.
His career includes his first Essential Mix for Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, collaborations with Tiësto, David Guetta, Meduza, Robin Schulz, and Jorja Smith, and multiple Platinum releases. He also topped the Billboard Hot Dance and Spotify Dance charts, and had three songs in the Beatport Top 10 at the same time, including the #1 Main Chart Overall with his debut single on Defected Records, It Is What It Is. Lukas Ruiz has also raised over USD 100,000 through a COVID-19 relief project in Brazil and is the creative force behind the festival and fashion brand Só Track Boa.
