About This Event
Urban Suite Jazz Series returns to UrbanBeat in Lansing on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 8:00 PM. The series was formerly known as the Gallery Suite Jazz Series at La Fille Gallery and is curated and hosted by Lansing smooth jazz saxophonist Phil Denny.
The event takes place at UrbanBeat, 1213 Turner Road, Lansing, MI 48906. Doors open at 6:30 PM for food and drink service and fellowship. Showtime is scheduled to run approximately 75 to 90 minutes.
After the performance, attendees can stay for an artist meet and greet, merchandise sales, and a cash bar while a custom curated smooth jazz playlist plays. The April 17 show follows a sold-out February edition featuring the Double Bass Experience with Phylicia Rea and Jacob Webb. A June 19 Juneteenth edition featuring flutist Althea Rene is also noted.
