Twisted Insane is the stage name of Michael Johnson, an American rapper and songwriter from San Diego, California. He is known for chopper rap, fast flows, and horrorcore themes that blend dark, violent narratives with gangsta rap elements. He began writing rhymes at age 12 and started performing live soon after.
His releases include Shoot for the Face (2006), The Insane Asylum (2013), Voodoo (2016), The Last Demon (2017), Annihilation (2023), Napalm (2024), and the single “The Return of the Sick” (2025). He also appeared on Tech N9ne’s “Worldwide Choppers” in 2011 and has released music through his independent label, Brainsick Muzik.
