River Roots are a UK acoustic folk-roots duo known for soulful male and female harmonies, with music shaped by travel and nomadic experiences. Their releases include a self-titled debut album, recorded and produced in 2018 at Sonic Vista Studios, and the sophomore album Coalescence, recorded and produced in London by Leon Itzler at the end of 2020. Their track Bare feet won best folk song of the year at the 2020 Reddit Grammy Awards, and their songs have been featured on BBC Introducing.
Matthew One Man performs using loop-station and acoustic guitar to build layered soundscapes and original compositions, alongside renditions of songs such as My Heart Will Go On and 9pm Til I Come. London-based DJ Jamie Renton, also listed as DJ Jamie Moon, plays a mix that moves from roots reggae and Balkan beats to salsa, ska, funk, soca, Afrobeat, and blues.
