About This Event
TO THE MOOON takes place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Nubez Gallery in Chicago, IL. This 21+ event runs from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM and features a live rap competition with original work created on site.
The competition is structured as a three-round showdown of bars, presence, and performance, with timed rounds and 20 finalists competing for a $200 grand prize. Four judges and crowd participation are part of the event, and two live set performances are also scheduled.
A live DJ will be present throughout the night. From 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM, the event opens into a party and networking segment. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and creative vendors will be on site. Gift bags with merch and goodies will be available for the first 75 guests.
