About This Event
The Southport Record Fair takes place at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Southport on Sunday 27 September 2026, with doors open from 10:00 to 16:00. Admission is free.
Presented by Britannia Record Fairs, the event features thousands of vinyl records for sale, including LPs and 45s across a wide range of genres. Listings mentioned include punk, mod, ska, 2 Tone, 50s through to 90s, pop, indie, alternative, grunge, rock, heavy metal, prog, reggae, rap, hip hop, soul, disco, boogie, funk, rock ’n’ roll, post punk, psych, synth, R&B, blues, Northern Soul, techno and trance.
Collectors can also find rare records, including rare jazz cuts, signed albums, limited 1990s first press records from the indie and Brit pop years, extensive punk and metal collections, prog rock classics and rarities, hip hop collectibles, and USA pressings. Britannia Record Fairs says the event is open to seasoned collectors and newcomers, with expert dealers travelling from around the UK.
The Prince of Wales Hotel is on Lord Street, Southport, PR8 1JS. Parking is available at the hotel and at three car parks within 400 metres. Southport Train Station is around 0.8 mile away, and nearby bus services include 300, 385, 47, X2, 40, 375, 2, 15, 15A, 44, 46, 46B and 152.
