About This Event
The Samples return to Bayside Bowl in Portland, Maine on Saturday, June 20 at 8:00 p.m., with Sparxsea as a special guest. The show is all-ages and takes place at Bayside Bowl, 58 Alder Street, Portland, ME 04101.
The Samples are led by Sean Kelly, known for his high voice, guitar playing, and songwriting on songs such as “Nature,” “Feel Us Shaking,” and “Did You Ever Look So Nice.” Kelly began playing guitar and writing songs while living in Vermont, later moving to Colorado in 1987, where he became a fixture on local club stages with The Samples. The band is currently recording its 20th album, Indian Summer, which is set for release later this year.
Sparxsea is a folk pop artist based in Portland, Maine. Her work combines acoustic warmth with electronic-based production and lyric-driven songwriting. She has released SHINE and On the Sea, and has continued recording and performing select tour dates across the US.
