Paul “HR” Hudson is best known as the front man of Bad Brains, the punk band formed in 1979. The band’s history includes its role in the Washington, DC music scene and its message of maintaining a positive mental attitude, or PMA. HR later formed the reggae-rock band Human Rights in 1984, and it has performed and recorded in various incarnations for more than three decades.
An opening set by Butterbrain is also planned. Butterbrain is described as funk/punk/ska from NYC, with members of Murphy’s Law, Inspecter 7, and The Erratics.
