About This Event
The Eighth Annual Afrobeats at the Lake 2026 takes place at Snow Park in Oakland on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Presented by Afrobeats Oakland, the festival features more than a dozen performers across two stages, along with 40+ vendors in the vendor village.
This all-ages event includes headliner Juls (UK/Ghana), with additional support from Afrobeats Oakland DJ and more artists to be announced. Kids under 16 enter for free. The event also includes a kids play area and a designated area for physical activities for kids hosted by AfroFit.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase in the food court area, and a specialty spirits cocktail bar will be hosted by Cafe Colucci. Parking around the venue is mostly metered, and the closest BART stations are 19th Street and Lake Merritt.
