The Brighton Beat returns to Van Dyck Music Club in Schenectady on Friday, September 18, at 8:00 PM. The venue is located at 237 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12305. This 18+ show features the band’s Afrobeat sound with influences from Fela Kuti, NYC jazz, and classic New Orleans brass band funk.
Performing up and down the East Coast since 2010, The Brighton Beat has developed a performance style that engages audiences. Their most recent album, Victory At Last, was released in May 2025. The band previously played Schenectady in November 2024 and returned again last fall before this third appearance in the city.
