Summer Blockfest is an annual Hip-Hop festival and community celebration founded by Victor M. Lopez Jr. It is presented by What Hoboken Soundslike and What Jersey City Soundslike. The event includes live hip-hop performances, live DJ sets, and a live beat showcase.
Additional programming includes food trucks and local culinary vendors, streetwear, art, vinyl, and local marketplace vendors, family-friendly activities, and community engagement experiences. The festival also features a Back-to-School Book Bag Giveaway in partnership with the Hoboken Public School District and the 2nd Annual Pamela Bates Foundation Awards Ceremony.
