TANGO NOSTALGIA - Duo Schirru-Furia (Bandoneon e Pianoforte) takes place at Villa Bernasconi in Cernobbio, Lombardia, on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The program features music by Astor Piazzolla, Fernando Otero, Fabio Furia, Emilio Balcarce, and Alejandro Schwarz.
The repertoire includes Verano Porteño, Pagina de Buenos Aires, Otoño Porteño, Vals Jazz, La Bordona, Michelangelo 70, Cuerdas con fueye, Adios Nonino, and Tristezas de un doble A. The performance is presented in collaboration with Museo Villa Bernasconi and Comune di Cernobbio.
Fabio Furia performs as bandoneonist. He is also a composer, arranger, teacher, and concert performer, with appearances in concert halls and festivals in Italy and abroad. Marco Schirru performs on piano; he graduated with honors from the Conservatory "G.P. da Palestrina" in Cagliari and has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in major Italian theaters and festivals.
The ticket includes a visit to the Villa Bernasconi museum and the concert. The box office at Villa Bernasconi opens at 10:00 AM.
