Stylie formed in 2019 as a group of Colorado-based musicians with a focus on authentic roots reggae. Their sound includes synths, heavy drums, fat bass, and melodic hooks, and they work through their independent studio and label, Dub Farm Records. In spring 2020, they released their debut EP, Flyin’ High, followed by their first full-length album, Blazin’ Round the World, in spring 2021.
The 18-track album explores interstellar space reggae through their radio station, 420 FM. Featured artists on the album include Green Buddha, Amanda Juline, Luna Shade, and DJ BloodPreshah, all from Colorado.
