Stylie was formed in 2019 by Colorado-based musicians who set out to create a modern sound rooted in authentic reggae. Their music includes synths, heavy drums, fat bass, and melodic hooks, and it is released through their independent studio and label, Dub Farm Records.
The group released its debut EP, Flyin’ High, in spring 2020, followed by the full-length album Blazin’ Round the World in spring 2021. That album features 18 dub tracks and includes references to interstellar space reggae through their radio station concept, 420 FM. Featured artists include Green Buddha, Amanda Juline, Luna Shade, and DJ BloodPreshah, all from Colorado.
