St James Quarter b-EAT Lounge: Kai Reesu and India Blue takes place at Everyman Edinburgh on St James Crescent in Edinburgh on Thursday, 20 August 2026, at 7:00 pm. The event is a standing show with limited seating available, and tickets include one drink on arrival.
Doors open at 7:00 pm, followed by Vic Galloway in conversation with Kai Reesu and India Blue at 7:30 pm. India Blue performs a live set at 8:15 pm, then Kai Reesu takes the stage at 9:00 pm. The event ends at 9:30 pm.
Kai Reesu are a Scottish hip-hop and jazz collective who released KOMPROMAT VOL. i and received the Scottish Album of the Year Award 2025. Their recent performances include Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival and Kelburn Garden Party, and they were nominated at the Scottish Jazz Awards. India Blue is preparing a debut album for release in 2027 and blends ambient neo-soul folk with fairytale-inspired strings and a dynamic rhythm section.
