About This Event
Sophisticated Boom Boom takes place at Bluebird Bakery, 201 Acomb Road, Acomb, YO24 3HD, on Saturday 18 April 2026 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Entry is free, but a reservation is required.
Doors and music run from 19:00 to 23:00, with DJs playing an eclectic vinyl selection of rock & roll, girl groups, garage rock, R&B, yé-yé, power pop, surf, soul and psych from the 1950s through to the present day. The music includes obscure cuts and floor fillers, with a focus on records to dance to.
Sophisticated Boom Boom is an inclusive night for people who want to discover new music and dance to old favourites.
