Sophistafunk is a funk-hip-hop band known for a large sound and tight musicianship. The group’s lineup includes Adam Gold, who sings, beatboxes, and plays up to four keyboards at once; drummer and vocalist Emanuel Washington; frontman Jack Brown; and saxophonist Tommy Weeks, who recently joined the band.
The band has performed at underground shows and international festivals, including multiple sets at Electric Forest and Camp Bisco in the U.S., as well as BoomTown and Shambala in the UK. Their live shows feature multiple sets and reflect the band’s blend of hip hop, live electronic music, and jam band elements.
Age restriction: under 21 with guardian. No entertainment fee will be charged on checks during the show.
