About This Event
Smadi Sessions Presents Roots Vibration Sound System takes place at Our Yard at Clitterhouse Farm on Claremont Road, London, NW2 1AP, on 16 August 2026 at 3:30 pm.
The afternoon includes a fundraising prelude with guest speaker Molemisi Kono of Visual Eyes Afrika International (VEA-int), who will also deliver the internationally recognised Sighted Guide technique. This is followed by a musical sensory session, Dub In The Dark, with VEA-int.
VEA-int works across Africa supporting blind and vision-impaired children, young people and adults through eye health support, practical life and mobility skills, professional training and partnerships with local communities. Later in the session, Power Cat, host of the Roots Vibration Show, teams up with Mighty Mostec, a producer, instrumentalist and pre-amp builder, for reggae and dub selections.
