About This Event
Ska Train returns to Temperance in Leamington Spa for a Friday night ska session. The event includes a live performance from Ska Train, plus a very special guest, with chairs around the edges and a large dance floor cleared in the middle.
Temperance is located at 33 Bath Street, Leamington Spa, CV31 3AF. Doors open at 7:00 pm, with Ska Train’s first set beginning at 7:30 pm.
The evening schedule is set to include three Ska Train sets, with DJ intervals between them:
- 7:00 pm — Doors
- 7:30 pm — Ska Train first set (45 minutes)
- 8:15 pm — Interval and DJ set (30 minutes)
- 8:45 pm — Ska Train second set (45 minutes)
- 9:30 pm — Interval and DJ set (30 minutes)
- 10:00 pm — Ska Train third set (45 minutes plus encores)
- 11:00 pm — Close
Ska Train celebrate the UK ska revival of the late 1970s and early 1980s, linked to Jerry Dammers’ 2-Tone label and bands including The Specials, Madness, Bad Manners and The Selecter. The seven-piece line-up includes trombone, saxophone, guitar, keys, vocals and rhythm section.
