SHAWN MAXWELL with Plainfield North High School Jazz Band takes place on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at THE VENUE in Aurora, Illinois. The performance is scheduled for 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:00 PM.
Shawn Maxwell will perform with the Plainfield North High School Jazz Band, and Lewis Achenbach, known as “Jazz Painter,” will paint live during the concert. Maxwell is a saxophonist with more than 25 years of performing experience on the Chicago music scene and touring across the United States. His recordings include J Town Suite, released in 2023, along with earlier albums dating back to 2005.
Tickets are listed as Premium Reserved Seating for $20 and General Admission for $15 in advance. A $5 additional door charge applies on the day of the show. The Venue is at 21 South Broadway, Aurora, IL 60505.
