Savana Funk are a live band formed in Bologna in 2015 by Aldo, Blake, and Youssef. Their sound fuses funk, rock, blues, and African influences, and also includes Afro-Cosmic Disco through their collaboration with producer Gaudi.
The band have played festivals including Firenze Rocks with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sherwood Festival with Seun Kuti, A Cielo Aperto with Kokoroko, and Tanta Robba with Nu Genea. In 2025 they toured Indonesia, performed at London’s ILMC, and played Sziget Festival in Budapest. Their album Behind The Eyes was released in February 2026 and produced by Tommaso Colliva.
