About This Event
RUM & REGGAE SHOW with LEVI ROOTS takes place at Fox & Firkin, 316 Lewisham High Street, #316a, London, SE13 6JZ, on 27 November 2026 at 8:00 PM.
The event features Dr Levi Roots on the decks with strictly cultural music and roots revival selections. The set looks back to the era when sound system culture was central, with heavy bass lines and music inspired by two of the UK’s sound systems, Sir Coxsone Outernational and Mighty Jah Shaka.
The programme also pays tribute to Jamaican recording engineers, studios, and musicians including King Tubby, Scientist, Lee Scratch Perry, King Jammys, Sly Dunbar, and Robbie Shakespeare. The event marks 20 years since Levi Roots appeared on BBC Dragons’ Den.
