About This Event

The lineup features Munich-based TMARO, whose sound blends afrobeats, afro R&B, and afropop. His music is inspired by artists such as Wizkid and Tekno, and he has more than 25 million streams. He has also appeared on Asake’s Lungu Boy Tour.
Joining him is London artist PapaRaZzle, who works across afro-fusion, R&B, soul, dancehall, rap, and pop. His tracks Darling and PARIS have received attention from MTV, Wonderland, and BBC 1Xtra.
Together, the artists bring two distinct diaspora voices to ROOTS & RHYTHM in Köln.
