Roomful of Blues is an eight-piece blues band led by guitarist Chris Vachon. The current lineup also includes singer Phil Pemberton, bassist John Turner, trumpeter Carl Gerhard, drummer Mike Coffey, keyboardist Rusty Scott, baritone and tenor saxophonist Alek Razdan, and tenor and alto saxophonist Rich Lataille.
The band’s sound draws from jump, swing, blues, R&B, and soul, and it is known for music that fills the dance floor. Phil Pemberton’s vocals add a jazzy, jump-blues dimension, while the horn section and rhythm players contribute to the group’s long-running sound. Small Batch Cellars is organizing the event.
