This edition of Right Hear / Right Now is an open-air listening session with Tame Impala, the solo project of Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker. The featured album is Lonerism, Tame Impala’s second studio album, released in 2012.
The evening includes a presentation of the album and the context in which it was created, followed by a silent, uninterrupted listening of the record from start to finish on vinyl. The event also includes a final drawing, with one winner receiving the album just listened to.
The album features tracks including Feels Like We Only Go Backwards, Elephant, and Apocalypse Dreams.
