Rev21 is an 8-piece gospel jazz band formed by musicians who met through London’s music and church communities. The group combines gospel, soul, and jazz influences with brass-led arrangements, tight grooves, and vocal harmonies. Their debut album, Let Them Hear, was released in 2024 and features original songs alongside fresh arrangements of gospel classics.
The lineup for this performance includes Phil Short on guitar, alongside Lois Odell and Sam Wakeford on voice, Max McLeish on trombone, Steve Nichols on trumpet, Josh Stidwill on keyboards, Matt Nunn on guitar, Isaac Merchant on bass, and Dan Watt on drums. Phil Short is a guitarist, Guitar Idol winner, and former touring player with Westlife, and this date marks his first live appearance in almost three years.
