Konquerin Soundz are a Cornish-based reggae soundsystem crew established in 2006. They play traditional vinyl selections and soundsystem sets that include Roots, Dancehall, Onedrop, Dub, and Cultural Lovers Rock. The crew includes Selecta Benjahman, DJ OriginL, and Broken Reality.
The event is hosted by Clean Sea Newquay, a volunteer-run environmental conservation organisation dedicated to protecting the ocean and beaches. Clean Sea Newquay also runs regular events and fundraisers to campaign for change, inspire action, and support efforts to keep the coastline thriving.
