About This Event
Rap Concert And Conversation For All Ages By Microsoft Engineer takes place on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM at 11:11 Sabores Del Pueblo, 154 West Main Street, Woodland, CA 95695.
Peyt Spencer Dewar is a rapper and software engineer from Bellevue, Washington. He performs as Peyt Spencer and says the name rhymes with “heat.” His music draws on 2000s hip-hop influences including Ja Rule, LL Cool J, Ludacris, and T.I., and his work has been described as featuring an East Coast cadence reminiscent of Jay-Z.
This appearance is part concert and part conversation, with Spencer Dewar discussing his path of growth and the universal principles he says guide a well-rounded life. He has said that much of his songwriting is inspired by the Baha'i Faith, including the year of service he completed in Veraguas, Panama, after high school. During that time, he lived with families in Santiago, taught virtues to children, led peer groups for early adolescents, facilitated study circles for youth and adults, and tutored reading and math. He later attended the University of Florida, performed in Gainesville's local scene, and eventually joined Microsoft as a software engineer, where he has spent the last decade.
The event is free and open to all ages.
