About This Event
prelude | FOREST. takes place at 8A Hyde St, 8A Hyde Street, Footscray, VIC 3011, on Sunday, 12 July 2026 at 5:00 PM.
Over the past six months, FOREST. has been working on a collection of solo instrumental works that explore dreams and ambitions. This presentation offers a first look at that music in a special immersive format before it finds a more permanent public home.
The performance includes a spoken reflection on dreams and home: “Are the colours we find in our dreams the same colours we find in our homes in the morning light? …it depends on the life we’ve made, it depends on the life we’ve made.” Leading up to the performance, complimentary forms of art from other creatives will be experienced, with more information to come closer to the date.
All ages are welcome, and families, individuals, and people from all walks of life are encouraged to attend.
