Pop The Balloon Artist Competition Calling All Singers•Rappers•Poets takes place at Limelight Social Club in Las Vegas on June 18, 2026 at 8:00 PM. The event is an interactive artist showcase competition featuring rappers, singers, and poets performing live in front of a crowd and special guest judges.
The competition includes 10 to 12 acts per show and is split into two rounds. In Round 1, each artist performs one track for up to two minutes while the crowd decides who advances. If an artist receives three balloon pops, they are eliminated. Artists who move on then perform again in Round 2, where the judges provide feedback and score each performance using a numbered rating system.
Cash and prizes are available, and the winner takes all. Listed prizes include a $500 cash prize, a custom drop and radio spin on 103.1 FM The Hustle with DJ So Hype, a podcast interview and spin on 5th Element Hiphop with OT 88 the 5th, two hours of studio time at Studio 1920, and future performance opportunities.
