Piano Recital: Victor Lim Plays Beethoven, Mompou & Schumann takes place at Forsyth Brothers Limited in Manchester on Thursday, 11 June 2026 at 6:30 PM. The recital is in the Piano Showroom at 126 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 2GR, and tickets are priced at £4.
Victor Lim returns to Forsyth with a programme that includes Ludwig van Beethoven, Federico Mompou and Robert Schumann. The programme opens with Beethoven’s Bagatelles Op. 126, his last major work for piano, followed by Mompou’s Scènes d'enfants (Scenes of Childhood) and Schumann’s Humoreske in B-flat major Op. 20.
Lim is a South Korean-British pianist who has performed internationally and has been recognised with two awards from the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe. He is also the Head of Keyboard Studies at Rossall School and Director of the International Piano Academy for gifted young pianists. His work has included performances with Manchester Collective, Manchester Camerata, Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra, Chinke! Orchestra and Royal Northern Sinfonia.
