Pepper has developed its “Kona dub-rock” sound, blending reggae, alternative rock, island rhythms, and punk influences. The band’s eighth studio album, Local Motion, includes appearances from Stick Figure, E.N Young, and Micah Brown of Iration.
The Movement formed in Columbia, South Carolina in 2003 and released Ways Of The World in 2019, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart. Surfer Girl is led by Carter Reeves, former frontman of Aer, and blends indie-pop, reggae, surf-rock, and hip-hop.
