Peak Jazz Series: Frank Vignola & Vinny Raniolo takes place at Caffè Lena in Saratoga Springs, NY, on Friday, November 20, 2026 at 8:00 PM. The evening features guitarist Frank Vignola and his longtime collaborator Vinny Raniolo, performing together in a duo setting.
Vignola is recognized for his genre-spanning work and has performed with artists including Ringo Starr, Madonna, Donald Fagen, Tommy Emmanuel, Lionel Hampton, and Les Paul. His career has taken him to Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, and more than 21 countries. He also leads the weekly “Guitar Night” residency at Birdland Jazz Club in New York City.
Raniolo is known as a rhythm guitarist with extensive performance and recording credits. His work has brought him to the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, Lincoln Center in New York, and the Teatro Olimpico in Italy. He has also appeared on PBS in Tommy Emmanuel & Friends and Four Generations of Guitar, and his recording credits include soundtracks for HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and Café Society.
Together, the two guitarists perform jazz standards, timeless classics, and improvisational pieces. The show is part of the Peak Jazz Series, which is made possible by the support of Joseph & Luann Conlon in memory of Joel Moss.
