Join us for an evening with the Organically Good Trio at Lizard Lounge, located at 1667 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA. This event is for ages 21 and over, with doors opening at 8 PM. Tickets are priced at $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
The Organically Good Trio is a Hammond organ trio based in Boston, known for their unique blend of reggae, soul, and boogaloo. Founded by Paul Wolstencroft, a keyboard player from Slightly Stoopid, the band draws inspiration from Jamaican organ legend Jackie Mittoo and the classic boogaloo albums of the late 1960s. The trio features:
- Paul Wolstencroft - Hammond Organ
- Van Gordon Martin - Guitar
- Tommy Benedetti - Drums
With a steady rhythm provided by Tommy Benedetti, a veteran of John Brown's Body, and dynamic guitar work from Van Gordon Martin of Dub Apocalypse, the band has made a significant mark on the New England music scene over the past five years. They have released four albums: Alakazam, Monster Sound, Blazin in Brooklyn, and Lunar Dub.
