About This Event
ON THE RISE - DJ WORKSHOP & OPEN DECKS takes place at BOXPARK Shoreditch, 2-10 Bethnal Green Road, London, E1 6GY, on Tuesday 28 April 2026.
The event includes two parts at BEATBOX. The Beginners DJ Workshop runs from 4pm to 6pm and is run with On the Rise DJ Academy. It is aimed at beginners and covers phrase mixing and mix points, matching sound levels, understanding EQ, basic effects, beats, bars and phrases, song structure analysis, loops, using effects in a mix, mixing different genres and styles, advance set structure and planning, and creative mixing across different tempos. Workshop tickets are £20 per person.
From 6pm to 10pm, BOXPARK Shoreditch and On the Rise DJ Academy host a new Open Decks event. It is open to all DJs and all genres. A free ticket is available for the Open Decks session.
