NIGERIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY YACHT CRUISE takes place at Anita Dee Yacht Charters, 200 North Breakwater Access, Chicago, IL 60601, on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 12:00 PM.
The cruise sails on Lake Michigan aboard the newly renovated Anita Dee II, a three-level yacht with a spacious lounge, dance floor, and open-air top deck. Guests will have access to all floors of the boat while cruising past Chicago’s skyline.
Music for the cruise includes Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, R&B, Old School, Kompa, House, Hip-Hop, Soca, and Top 40 hits, with international DJs playing during the cruise. Check-in begins at 11:00 AM, boarding starts at 12:15 PM, and the cruise departs at 1:00 PM and returns at 4:30 PM.
- All guests must be 21 or older and present a valid government-issued ID
- Eventbrite ticket required for entry; tickets will not be sold at the entrance
- No outside food or beverages are allowed on the boat
- Dress code: semi-casual; no flip flops, sports clothes, jogging pants, or sport hats
