Myles Bullen is a genre-fluid artist from Portland, Maine, known for blending elements of punk, hip-hop, and folk. They have toured extensively across the US, UK, Japan, and Europe, performing at various venues, colleges, recovery centers, prisons, festivals, and libraries. Myles, who is in long-term recovery, addresses themes such as grief, mental health, addiction, and identity in their music. Their sound has been described as a mix of “grief core, whimsical devastation, and upbeat sadness,” resonating with a diverse audience that includes folk punks, poets, and hip-hop enthusiasts. Myles has released albums through Fake Four Inc. and Back on the Grind Records and has shared the stage with notable artists like Sage Francis and Kimya Dawson.
