Mutoriah is an artist-producer known for blending soulful vocals with Electro AfroPop, drawing inspiration from life experiences. He began making music on the keyboard, developed his craft at Sauti Academy and with local bands, and later worked as a producer at the Kenyan label Calif Records. He also co-founded his own label, where he helped develop artists including Ayrosh, Serro, and Wanavokali.
His career includes the 2019 release of Maasai Power Trap, which led to a spot on Coke Studio Africa 2019. He has since released the debut album Dive In, the 2022 album Happiness featuring I Want with Chris Kaiga, and the 2023 three-track EP Presha, which was picked up for a Netflix sync deal for the film Christmas Love.
