About This Event
Mozart for flute and strings takes place at Old Baptist Chapel in Tewkesbury on Sunday 30 August 2026 at 3:30 pm. The concert is presented at Old Baptist Chapel Court, off Church Street, GL20 5RZ.
Members of the Musical & Amicable Society return for Old Chapel Court Concerts’ first programme featuring Mozart. Flautist Elizabeth Walker performs on baroque, 8 keyed and modern flutes and regularly appears with orchestras based in the UK. She also gives solo recitals at festivals and conventions in Holland, Toronto, Chicago and Orlando, in Switzerland, and throughout the UK.
Walker is joined by violinist Catherine Martin, violist Kate Fawcett and cellist Sarah McMahon. In 2024, she played principal flute and recorder for the Monteverdi Choir & Orchestras’ Christmas tour with Christophe Rousset.
