About This Event
Mojo Rising takes place at The Library, 10 Leeds Road, Attercliffe, Sheffield, S9 3TY, on Friday 8 May 2026 at 7:00 PM.
This special night is part of the Mojo Rising heritage project and marks 60 years of music, culture and community in Sheffield. It celebrates the legendary King Mojo Club, known as one of the city’s iconic 1960s music venues.
The event includes DJ sets inspired by the sounds of King Mojo, with Motown, soul, R&B and 60s classics. Guests can also share their memories of Sheffield’s club scene. Support is provided by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, SADACCA and Dirty Stop Outs.
Ticket income helps cover venue and event costs so the heritage project can reach more people.
