About This Event
Minta Spencer - Live in DTLA takes place at Birds Of A Feather Jazz Lounge inside Au Lac, the Vietnamese vegan restaurant at 710 W. 1st St. in Downtown Los Angeles, on the corner of 1st and Hope. The event is scheduled for April 30, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
This performance explores jazz sampled in hip hop, reimagined with harp at the center. Minta Spencer, a Los Angeles harpist, pianist, and bandleader, leads an ensemble that turns familiar samples into layered, groove-driven arrangements and textural reinterpretations. The set features Minta Spencer on harp and piano, alongside Alex Sill on guitar, Danny Janklow on sax and flute, Cooper Appelt on bass, and Taylor Kennedy on drums.
This is a private event, and a portion of the proceeds goes to Kid City Hope Place.
